Water is released in the transpiration reaction.

In the photosynthesis reaction no release of water molecule takes place and the reaction is

CO2+H2O------>C6H12O6+O2 

Now balancing of this reaction is as under:

There are 6 carbon atoms on the right side so we have to multiply CO2 by 6 for getting equal number of  carbon atoms on both the sides.

6 CO2+H2O------>C6H12O6+O2 

There are 12 hydrogen atom on the right side so multiply H2O by 6.

6 CO2+6 H2O------>C6H12O6+O2 

There are 18 oxygen atoms on the left side so for getting equal number of oxygen on the right side also multiply O2 by 6

6 CO2+6 H2O------>C6H12O6+6O2 

This is the balanced chemical reaction.
