Hi there !
Calcium Oxide = CaO [ quick lime ]
Water = H₂O
Calcium Hydroxide = Ca(OH)₂ [ slaked lime ]
CaO + H₂O -----> Ca(OH)₂
LHS :- Ca = 1 , O = 2 , H = 2
RHS:- Ca = 1 , O = 2 , H = 2
Here,
the no: of atoms of all the elements in both the side is equal.
Hence , the equation is already balanced !!!
