A chemical equation is the symbolic representation of a chemical reaction in the form of symbols and formulae, wherein the reactant entities are given on the left-hand side and the product entities on the right-hand side.

Ex-The hydrogen (H) atoms are now balanced. Due to the coefficient 2 in front of H2O, there are a total of 4 oxygen (O) atoms on the products side. To balance the oxygen atoms on both sides, we put a coefficient of 2 in front of . The chemical equation is now balanced.
B.
UnBalanced=It is an unbalanced equation (sometimes also called a skeleton equation). This means that there are UNEQUAL numbers at least one atom on each side of the arrow. By the way, a skeleton equation is not wrong, it just hasn't been balanced yet.

BALANCING A CHEMICAL EQUATION MEANS MAKING THE NO. OF ATOMS OF EACH ELEMENT EQUAL ON BOTH THE SIDES OF EQUATION. A BALANCED EQUATION FOLLOWS THE LAW OF CONSERVATION OF MASS. i.e, IN A CHEMICAL REACTION, TOTAL MASS OF THE PRODUCTS IS EQUAL TO THE TOTAL MASS OF ALL THE REACTANTS.

Eg. H2 +O2=H2O
this is unbalanced as there are 2 atoms of oxygen in the reactants but 1 in the product.
now we will balance this equation.
2H2+O2=2H2O
