Balancing Of Simple Cash Book :-

The cash book is balance like a ledger account.

•Cash book always show a Debit balance because the total cash payment can never exceed the total cash receipts.

•The difference of total of debit and credit sides is written on the credit side as by balance "cd.

•The total Sa then entered into amounts column.

•Then on the debit side the balance is carried forward to the next period as to balance "bd.

•The balance as per cash book must tally with the actual cash in hand.
