ANSWER:-
BALDEV PRESENTED MANY ARGUMENTS BEFORE THE NARRATOR TO CONVINCE HIM TO SPEAK TO THE DISTRICT OFFICER. THE ARGUMENTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:-
1. HE TOLD THAT IF HIS SON IS SENTENCED THE WHOLE FAMILY WILL BE RUINED.
2. HIS WIFE IS CRYING HEART OUT.
3.HIS WIFE HAS NOT EATEN ANYTHING SINCE HIS ARREST.
4.WHAT YOU HAD DONE IF YOUR SON HAD ARRESTED IN SAME TYPE OF SITUATION.
FROM MY OPINION,LAST ARGUMENT IS TO BE MOST CONVINCING BECAUSE IF THE NARRATOR'S SON WAS IN TROUBLE THEN THE NARRATOR MUST HAVE TALK TO DISTRICT OFFICER THAT HIS SON WAS INNOCENT. HE MUST HAVE REQUESTED THE DISTRICT OFFICER TO LEAVE HIS SON AS THE POLICE HAS ARRESTED HIM BECAUSE HIS SON HAD QUARRELED WITH POLICE AND THEY ARE ON THE ALWAYS ON THE LOOK TO ARREST HIM. WHEN A DACOITY TOOK PLACE IN THE VILLAGE,DURING INVESTIGATION THEY ROPED HIM.
