ANSWER:-

The trolley is moving horizontally with a constant velocity (v).

And a ball is thrown upward at the rate of 10m/s from the trolley.

To get the range of the ball w.r.t second person standing on the ground ,

Range = (velocity of body in horizontal direction)×(time of flight)

So, R =(v)(2vsin90°/10)

R = 2v/10

R =(v/5) meter.

therefore, range = (v/10) meter.
