➟ As we know, Geotropism is a response to stimuli for gravity, i.e plants grow in direction of the Earth. Whereas in the case of a banana, the geotropism is negative. That is, they grow in the opposite direction of gravity, which is sun.

This is the reason why Banana's are curved.
