It is a salt formed using a strong acid -HCl and a strong base Ba(OH)2, hence its pH should be somwhat close to 7 (neutral pH in solution). PH of barium chloride is 7 because it is a salt obtain by combination of a strong acid(HCl) and a strong base barium hydroxide
