With H2SO4 : Barium Chloride reacts with H2SO4 to produce a white insoluble precipitate of barium sulphate ( BaSO4 ). Reaction : BaCl2 + H2SO4 →BaSO4 + 2 HCl. When barium chloride reacts with sulphuric acid, an insoluble white precipitate of barium sulphate is formed.
