Area of 1st triangle = (1/2×b×h)
=(1/2×9×5)cm^2=45/2cm^2
=22.5cm^2.
Area of second triangle = (1/2×b×h)
=(1/2×10×6)cm^2.
=30cm^2.

Their ratio = 22.5:30=3:4

Let ABC and PQR be two right triangles with AB ⊥ BC and PQ ⊥ QR.

Given:

BC = 9, AB = 5, PQ = 6 and QR = 10.

∴A(△ABC)/A(△PQR)

=AB×BC/PQ×QR

=5×9/6×10

=3/4
