triangle is 12 cm and height is 6
cm. Find the ratio of the areas

Answer:

area of 1st triangle

=1/2×9×5cm^2

=45/2cm^2

area of 2nd triangle

=1/2×12×6cm^2

=36cm^2

ratio of areas = area of 1st triangle /area of 2nd triangle

=45/2×1/36

=45/72= 5/8

the ratio is 5:8
