Since opposite side are equal in a Isis triangle , let equal ides be 2x
2x + 14 = 36
2x = 36-14
2x =22
x = 22/2
x = 11
By using HERON'S FORMULA you can arrive the final answer
So the sides are 11,11,14

Let the two sides of isosceles Δ be x and x.
Base of the Δ = 14cm
Perimeter = 36cm
Perimeter of Δ = sum of sides
So,
=> x+x+14=36
=> 2x+14=36
=> 2x=36-14
=> x=22/2
=> 11
So the sides of the Δ are 11cm, 11cm, and 14cm.
Semi perimeter of Δ = perimeter/2
=> 36/2
=> 18 cm
Area using Heron's Formula = √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)
So area,
=> √18(18-11)(18-11)(18-14)
=> √18×7×7×4
=> √3528 cm²
=> 59.3969696 cm²
Hope the answer is helpful !!
