Base radius of cone is 8cm and height is 6cm. find slant height. calculate surface area and volume
ans) slant height(l) =√height²+radius²
(l)= √6²+8²= √36+ 64 = √100=10cm
Surface area=πr²+πrl=
π×8²+π×8×10=64π+80π=144
Volume= 1/3πr²h=1/3×π×8²×6
=1/3×π×64×6= π×64×2= 128cm²

HERE'S YOUR ANSWER:-

radius =8cm(r)

height=6cm(h)

let, slant height=l

l^2=r^2+h^2

l^2=8^2+6^2

l^2=64+36

l^2=100

l^2=10^2

l=10

slant height=10 cm

surface area of cone=πRL

therefore-

π*8*10

80π(answer)

π=22/7=3.14

80*22/7

1760/7

=751.44(answer)

volume of cone=1/3πr^2h

1/3*π*8^2*6

π/3*64*6

π*64*2

128π(answer)

π=22/7

128*22/7

2816/7

=402.28(answer)
