Answer:

The importance of family. The myth of the Maori creation mentions how humans were created and the way nature helped in making them by sacrificing itself. As per the myth, the heaven and the earth were joined together. Papatuanuku was known as the sky father while the Earth was mother Ranhinui. Together, they had a lot of children. The children continued to live live in darkness. But they wanted to live in light. The children got separated from their parents so that they could live in light. The parents still grieve for each other till today. The Haida myth is based on a trickster called Raven. He stole the sun, the stars and the moon so that he can bring light to his world. He also made trees, animals, men, fish and all other creatures but they were in darkness due to which he stole the light.
