Based on several instances, which specific part of India do you think the author has based his story on? (HOTS) Iswaran the Story Teller Grade 9

I made this question by myself, can anyone answer it for me?

Answer:

Okay, I've completed my 9th standard now and am in 10th, so I've read this chapter many times and remember it well.

  • Based on the several instances in the story, we can make out that the place was not well inhabited and deserted. Although, the haunted story Iswaran narrated appeared to be made up, but the environment of the place was rather scary. When the author peeped out of his window, what he told about the place at that night, portrayed an image of a lonely and large field in the moon light, which looked terrifying.
  • As most of the deserted and isolated, rather haunting places in the country (India) are in Rajasthan. We can say that the author had based the story in some part of Rajasthan.
