Micelle are associated colloids. Micelles are aggregate molecules which are present in a colloidal solution

A typical micelle in aqueous solution forms an aggregate with the hydrophilic regions in contact with surrounding solvent. Micelles are spherical in shape. ellipsoids, cylinders are also possible. The shape and size of a micelle depends on the molecular geometry. The process of forming micelles is known as micellisation and forms behaviourial phase according to their polymorphism.
