♥It is becausr sun gives enormous amount of energy by the process called thermonuclear fusion reaction and this reaction cannot be controlled on earth. Just to teach 1/4 th the energy produced by the sun, Earth will end up.♥
1. Can we create energy the same way the sun does ?
Answer - Before answering the question as YES/NO, firstly lets see how the sun produces the energy and later decide our answer.
The sun produces the energy through nuclear fusion. The Hydrogen in its core is converted to Helium which travels up to the surface and gives off energy. Also, the Sun is in plasma state.
Is it possible for human beings to create and control such immense amount of energy ?
The answer would be NO.
2. If NO then give reason in details.
Answer - As I mentioned it is out of human's capacity to make a source of energy so big that would have to bigger than the Earth itself to maintain itself and prevent it from crushing itself and even start the nuclear fusion.
Therefore, a better idea would be to harness the energy of our existing star - The Sun. There's a theory about the making of a Dyson Sphere. It would enclose the whole star and harness its every bit of energy. Even such a construction is too hard. It would require us to mine other planets such as Mercury and Venus.
3. Will that energy be sufficient to travel distances of light year ?
Answer - YES, the energy that we can harness from sources like Sun is enough to power the current level of technology for millions of years without worrying. The only problem would be of aging. We would need to develop technology that can prevent it and sustain the human race. As the energy is not the only requirement for survival.
4. What will be the significance of that energy in time traveling ?
Answer - If we somehow manage to put that energy to use, we might even be able to populate our Solar System or even the whole galaxy with time.
Such energy might even allow us to attain near light speeds ultimately helping us in Time traveling by developing such vehicles and life supports systems that prevent the energy created from traveling at such high speeds from ripping us apart.
