The basic nuclear process involved in the emission of beta plus in a symbolic form, by a radioactive nucleus, In a beta-plus decay, a proton transforms into a neutron within the nucleus.

aashika5653: so u wanna say that beta plus is the basic nuclear process among beta plus and beta minus

There are two types of beta decay :

1. Beta minus decay - In this process a neutron is transformed into a proton and electron. An antineutrino is also emitted.

2. Beta plus decay - In this process a proton is transformed into a neutron and positron (antiparticle of electron) and neutrino.

Beta plus decay is very very rare. I don't think it occurs on Earth. I am not sure though. Let me know if you are sure.

Hope it helps

Cheers !!!
