Batteries are always labeled with their emf, would it be appropriate to
put label on batteries stating how much current they provide? Why or
why not?

According to ohm's law

V=iR

i=V/R

so the amount of current flown will depend on resistance of wire connected

So it's not appropriate to label battery with current
