Answer:

Explanation:

V=12V

R=15ohm

Using ohm's law

V=IR

I=V/R=12/15=0.8A

Hence current is 0.8 Ampere

CASE - 1

If the resistance are connected in series then ;

→ R(net) = R1 + R2

→ R(net) = 15 + 10 = 25 Ω

And, Battery = 12 V

So, By Ohm's Law

→ V = IR

→ I = V/R

→ I = 12/25

Hence, I = 0.48 A ____________(Ans.)

CASE - 2

If the resistance are connected in parallel then ;

→ R(net) = ( R1 x R2 )/( R1 + R2 )

→ R(net) = (15 x 10)/(15 + 10)

→ R(net) = 150/25

→ R(net) = 6 Ω

And, Battery = 12 V

So, By Ohm's Law

→ V = IR

→ I = V/R

→ I = 12/6

Hence, I = 2 A _______________(Ans.)
