Answer:

orignal price of 1 kg potatos=40

orignal price of 1 kg of onion=60

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the price of onions be x

Let the price of potato be y

x+y=220

new price of onions=x+50x/100

                                =1.5x

new price of potato=y+10y/100

                                =1.1y

now,1.5x+1.1y=266

now putting,x=220-y

1.5*(220-y)+1.1y=266

330-1.5y+1.1y=266

0.4y=64

y=160

x=220-160

 =60

orignal price of 4 kg potatos=160

orignal price of 1 kg of potato=40

orignal price of 1kg of onions=60
