The post office in the town makes the old man feel joyful.

He comes to the post-faith of pilgrim and devotion.

The old man spends a few minutes for worship place which called as a pilgrim.

He is coachman of Ali who comes to post office to receiver letter.

The word goal refers to his journey.

(A) The old man in the above lines is Coachman Ali. The sight of the post office building made him feel joyed and happy.

(B) Coachman Ali has come to the post office to receive his daughter, Miriam's letter.

(C) The comparison is so because Ali came from a long distance away from the post office. He was eagerly waiting for his daughter's letter. Since, he had been grown too old and was not that much energetic. So, when he reached the post office, he felt as much happy as a person feels when he goes for a pilgrim.
