Given :- Belinda went biking on Saturday and rode for 6 4/5 miles. On Sunday she rode for 2/3 of the distance she rode on Saturday.

To Find :- Write and solve an equation that will help you figure out how far Belinda rode on Sunday .

Solution :-

Let us assume that, Belinda rode x km on Sunday .

so,

→ Distance she rode on saturday = 6(4/5) miles = (34/5) miles .

and,

→ Distance she rode on sunday = (2/3) of distance she rode on saturday .

then,

→ x = (2/3) of (34/5)

→ x = (2/3) * (34/5) { Required equation .}

→ x = (68/15)
