HEC and BEML had signed a memorandum of understanding to manufacture machinery for the mining industry.

They are generally planning to manufacture walking draglines and rope shovels and give a challenge to foreign multinational with their products and saving valuable foreign exchange of the country.  

They are targeting the Coal India Limited and other big players of the mining industry to sell their products.
