Beth said that the ratio of the number of players in any sport to the number of players on a lacrosse team must always be a terminating decimal. Do you disagree or agree? Why or why not?

yes, I agree with it because the no. of players in a team is lie 12 or 7 according to the game we can't count any person as half it is always terminating decimal.

As, number of players in Men 's Lacrosse team=10= 2 × 5

Number of players in any sport team = x →→→ Any Natural Number

Now, \frac{x}{10}=\frac{x}{2 \times 5}=0.x→→A terminating Decimal

Number of players in women Lacrosse team =12

Now, \frac{x}{10}=\frac{x}{2 \times 5}=0.xxxx or 0.xyxy....→→A non terminating Repeating Decimal

Keep in mind , that if the denominator of a rational number is of the form 2^a or 5^b or 2^a \times 5^b then that rational number is terminates otherwise non terminating repeating.

So, it totally depends on which kind of team it is , A men's Lacrosse team or Women's Lacrosse Team. If it is Men's then it is Terminating otherwise Non Terminating.
