Let x be the hourly pay for normal working hours.

So for 40 hrs of normal work she gets $40x

For 4 hours of additional work she gets $(4*1.5x) = $6x

Total earnings by her for 44hrs of work = $40x + $6x = $46x

Her gross pay as given in the question = $575

So, 46x = 575

x = 575/46 = $12.5

So the pay for normal working hours = $12.50

Pay for the additional working hours = 1.5 * 12.50 = $18.75

Hence option B is correct.
