a) We have taken a scale of

1cm = 10 students

Because it suits the interval very well.

b) i) Maximum = 5th and Minimum = 10th

ii) No of students in grade 6th = 120

No of students in grade 8th = 100

Ratio = \frac{120}{100}\ =\ \frac{6}{5} = 6:5
