This proverb it is a useful reminder for everybody. Most people tend to be friendly and outgoing just to discover, after a while, how much the others care about them, when the answer is “nothing” then it is better to keep the distance.
If the people you stay with are the wrong type for you, remaining alone is a way better. This doesn’t mean you have to remain alone for the rest of your life, it means that it is better to choose the people you want to be surrounded with.
A good company is what can make you happy every day so it is only a matter of time and everyone will find the right one…in the meantime a little bit of time by yourself is not that bad!
Answer:
A man is said to be known by the company he keeps; if he is surrounded by people who respect others and are kind-hearted, he is automatically thought to be a nice and well-mannered man. However, if he is surrounded by people who have no regard for others, he is automatically thought to be an ill-mannered man.
When a man is alone or bored, he occasionally surrounds himself with incorrect people. He is unaware of the potential impact it could have on his reputation and himself. No matter how excellent a man is, being around terrible people can have a negative impact on his personality. And over the course of his life, these unhealthy habits could harm him in a variety of ways.
If a man is uncomfortable in the company of another man, he should simply get up and sit somewhere else. He would rather be alone than with someone who makes him feel uncomfortable. What's the point of spending time with someone who makes you feel insecure and unworthy? When a man is alone, he thinks about things from his own point of view and is unconcerned by the thoughts and perspectives of others. He sees things differently and is full of life. If a man is in a job that he dislikes, that job will prevent him from being his happy self. Bad company will always have a negative impact on a man, no matter how strong or powerful he is.
