yes it is absolutely true because the meaning of the phrase between the devil and the deep sea means to be in Delhi ma in fact it means to be the situation to be caught up into such situations that neither of them seems to be good then the other if you go to devil it is bad for you if you go to deep sea it is not good for you so you are caught in such a situation that you cannot come out for example while walking from the hometown to the city the railway line broke off and there was no alternative and so ultimately I was in the devil and the deep sea because neither I had of return tickets and station was in middle not do I had a ticket
