Bhagwan Mahaveer National park is located in western ghats of south India and in sanguem taluk, in Goa along eastern border with Karnataka. The park is of 240 sq. km.
It was established in 1978. The area was declared as a wildlife sanctuary in year 1969.The park has 722 species of flowering plants.The sanctuary has several tourists attractions like Dudhsagar Falls, Tambdi Surla Temple ,Sunset point, etc.
