He was supposed to leave US in 10th January.
- There are 31 days in the month of December.
- So,if the starting date is 21st December,then there will be (31-21) = 10 days in the month of December will be consumed in the trip.
- Remaining number of days = 20-10 = 10 days.
- So, rest 10 days will be consumed in the starting of January ,which goes in the date of 10th January.
- So he will leave US in 10th January (answer)
