The complete question is as below:

Bhavika and Sunaina started walking simultaneously towards each other from two places 100 m apart. After walking 30 m, Bhavika turns left and goes 10 m, then she turns right and goes 20 m and then turns right again and comes back to the road on which she had stated walking. If both Bhavika and Sunaina walk with the same speed, what is the distance between them at this point of time?

Solution:

Find the total distance Bhavika has walked:

Total distance = 30 + 10 + 20 + 10 = 70 m

Find the total distance Sunaina has walked:

Total distance = Same distance as Bhavika = 70m

Find the total distance that  Bhavika has covered on the actual route:

*See attachment

Distance covered = 30 + 20 = 50m

Find the difference in distance:

Bhavika would be 50 m away from the point that she started

Sanauna would be 100 - 70 = 30 m away from the point Bhavika has started

Difference = 50 - 30 = 20 m

Answer: They are 20m apart.
