ozone layer is the layer which is covering earth. it protects us from the harmful uv or ultraviolet rays of the sun. as it is said it reduces green house effect. if the ozone layer wouldn't exist then our skin could get damged or could get skin cancer due to uv rays of sun. it would had also effect on the glaciers. if the the glaciers on the earth would melt then all the land will be immersed in the seas and ocean. then there will be no land on the planet earth. the ozone layer is getting day by day weak. there has been a hole in ozone layer. this also due to us we are the reason of depletion of ozone layer. The main reason for ozone depletion due to human activities are due to release of chemicals such as chlorine compound and bromine compounds in the atmosphere.
