Answer:

Cost=3605

cost of 1 fan÷3605/2=1802.5

profit from 1st fan=15/100×1802.5

selling price of 1st fan 270.375+1802.5=2072.875

loss com 2nd fan=9/100×1802.5=162.225

selling price of 2nd fan =1802.5-162.225=1640.275

tatal S.P=2072.875+1640.275=3713.15

profit=3713.15-3605=108.15

Let cost of table fans be Rs. x and Rs. y respectively

As per question,

=> x+y = 3605

=> y = 3605-x ...(1)

SP of,

=> First fan = x + 15% of x = Rs. 115x/100

=> Second fan = y - 9% of y = Rs. 91y/100

As per question,

=> 115x/100 = 91y/100

=> 115x = 91y

=> 115x = 91(3605-x) (From 1)

=> 115x = 328055-91x

=> 115x+91x = 328055

=> 206x = 328055

=> x = 328055/206 = Rs. 1592.50

∴ y = (3605-1592.50) = Rs. 2012.50
