Bichung father is 26 years younger than bichung's grandfather and 29 years older than bichung the sum of their ages is 135 find their ages

Given :-

  • Bichung's father is 26 years younger than bichung's grandfather.
  • Bichung's father is 29 years older than Bichung.
  • Sum of their ages is 135.

To find :-

  • Age of Bichung, father and grandfather.

Solution :-

Let the age of Bichung be x

Now,

Age of father is 29 years more than bichung.

= x + 29

And,

Age of grandfather is 26 years more than age of father.

= x + 29 + 26

= x + 55

Sum of their ages is 135

So,

x + x + 29 + x + 55 = 135

3x+ 84 = 135

3x = 51

x = 51/3

x = 17

Substituting the value of x,

Age of Bichung = 17 years

Age of father = x + 29

= 17 + 29

= 46 years

Age of grandfather = x + 55

= 17 + 55

= 72 years
