u=10*5/18
=50/18
=2.77 m/s
v=15*5/18
= 75/18
=4.16 m/s
t=6 sec
from 1st equation of motion
v=u+at
4.16=2.77+a*6
4.16-2.77=6a
1.39=6a
a=1.39/6
a=0.23 m/s^2

Acceleration of the bicycle

We know that,
Acceleration is defined as ratio of change in velocity to the time interval.
Converstion :-
- 1kmph = 5/18mps
- 15kmph = 4.17mps
- 10kmph = 2.78mps
Then,
- Acceleration is a vector quantity.
- Accelerataion has both magnitude as well as direction.
- Acceleration can be positive, negative and zero.
