yes bihu is celebrated in assam. There are literally three bihu they are Bohag bihu or rangali bihu celebrated in the month of april, Katti bihu or kangali nihu which is celebrated after they had finished their cultivation in the month of october and rhe other oneis Mag bihu pr bhogali bihu celenrated after finishing their harvesting of paddy,in the month of january.
