Bcoz it contains pigments bilirubin biliverdin which help in emulsification of the fats into simple globules for easy action of the pancreatic enzymes

Bile is alkaline and contains salts which help to emusify or break the fats present in the food. So,there are two functions performed by the bile:
1. It makes the alkaline food acidic which comes from the stomach. So that pancreatic enzymes can act on it.
2. Bile salts break the fats present in the food into small globules making it easy for enzymes to act and digest them.

So we can conclude that though bile does not contain any enzymes,it helps the food to digest in our body
