Bile does contain enzymes in digestion. Bile emulsifies fats and creates a basic medium for the pancreatic enzymes to act upon semi digested acidic food.

Hope this helps..!!

Although it does not contain anydigestive enzymes, it plays animportant role in the digestion of fats.Bile juice has bile pigments such as bilirubin and biliverdin. These break down large fat globules into smaller globules so that the pancreaticenzymes can easily act on them.
