binding energy is the energy excess which is released when a nucleus is breaked. it is the energy that hold nuelons together with in Same nueclus it is the strongest force on earth as it overcome the repulsive force between protons present in the neuclus.

on graph we can see that this force is short ranged and is active under only a range of few femtometer.

elements under mass 30 to 170 have perfect neuclear binding energy and above or below this range elements do not have much strong force.

and this energy is Used in nucler power plants to generate energy.
