Areolar tissue and Adipose tissue.

Areolar tissue is found in the skin where it binds the muscles with the skin's outer layers. It holds the organs in their location and fix the epithelial tissue to the latent tissues.

Adipose tissue is found in various places like beneath the skin, around inner organs, in yellow bone marrow, in the muscular system and the breast tissue. Its main function is to avoid loss of heat through the skin, also it stores energy and protects the organs from injuries.

The binding layer between adjacent cell walls is called Plasmodesmata.

The plant cell walls are rigid structures but they are incorporated with multiple channels that connects the cytoplasm of the adjacent cells.

The plasmodesmata goes through the cytoplasm of the plant cell and allow the cytosol of one cell connect with the internal chemical environment of the other cell.
