Binomial nomenclature... It is way to name species of living things in scientific way. The name is in Latin. The first name is of genus and the second name is of species. The first letter of genus name is capital whereas the species name is in small letter. It is written in Latin when typed, but it is written in simple way when formally written and then is underlined. It was first introduced by Carl Linnaeus. The binomial nomenclature is very useful. As the name of animal is not same in every country so with the help of binomial nomenclature the name is taken same in every country. It helps to remove language boundary of the world. For example for human the scientific name is homo sapiens.

Trinomial nomenclature... It refers to the name of taxa below the rank of species. In this the names are of three types. The usage of trinomial nomenclature is different in zoology and botany. For animals, scientific names are governed by the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature. For example, Buteo jamaicensis borealis is one of the subspecies of the red-tailed hawk species, Buteo jamaicensis. For algae, fungi, plants, and their fossils, there is an indeterminate number of infraspecific ranks allowed below the level of species. forexample Corylopsis sinensis var. calvescens f. veitchiana is an ornamental garden plant

hope this helps ..
