Mumbai is the capital of Maharashtra. Nagpur is Maharashtra's second capital as well as its winter capital.The major rivers of the state are Godavari, and Krishna.There are various world heritage sites and one of them is Ajanta caves and Ellora caves.There are also numerous forts and one of them is based on Shivaji Maharaj.
