It is a very complicated question but the main effect of agricultural waste on a river :-
1)It causes heavy damages to the aquatic plants and animals.
2)It also causes the formation of algal bloom for which number of Fisher are dying.
3) Insecticides and pesticides are getting emitted from their agricultural field due to the surface water run off and getting mixed with the Fishes which we are eating, this causes heavy damage to our health .I.e, Responsible for Food poison, stomach pain.etc
