There is no full form of Biology as it is not an acronym.

It has been derived from the Greek words ‘Bios’ and ‘logia’ which mean ‘life’ and ‘the study of’ respectively.

So basically ‘biology’ means the study of life or living matter with reference to its origin, growth, reproduction, chemical structure , function, behavior and evolution.
