3. Thyroxine plays a crucial role in heart and digestive function, metabolism, brain development, bone health, and muscle control.

4. A reflex action, is an involuntary and nearly instantaneous movement in response to a stimulus.This is what happens in reflex action - Receptor detects a stimulus(change in the environment)------>Sensory neurone sends signal to relay neuron---->Motor neuron sends signal to effector---->Effector produces the desired response.
