Biotic refers to living creatures of the environment. It includes all organisms ranging from microbe to humans.

Abiotic factors are the non living ones, which includes cold, heat, organic elements, inorganic elements.

Effect of biotic factors can be seen as - rhizobium, micorrhiza. Abiotic effect is seen as - cold stress, heat stress on plants.
