They will meet be together at the starting point :-

So we take Lcm.

36 s -
 {2}^{2}  \times  {3}^{2}   = 36\\   {2}^{4}  \times 3  = 48\\    {3}^{2}  \times 7 = 63
.
They will meet at 1008 second .

GIVEN

Birju,bankim and boney begin to jog around a circular stadium.they complete their revolutions in 36 seconds,48 seconds and 63 seconds respectively.

TO FIND

After how many seconds will they be together at the starting point?

SOLUTION

We can simply solve the above problem as follows;

Given,

Time taken by Birju = 36 seconds

Time taken by Bankim = 48 seconds

Time taken by Boney = 63 seconds

Time when all of them will be together = LCM of 36, 48 and 63

LCM of 36,48,63 = 1008

36 = 2² × 3²

48 = 2⁴ × 3

63 = 3² × 7

LCM = 2⁴ × 3² × 7 = 1008

Therefore,

They will meet after 1008 seconds.
