• 4 litres of blue colour

• 10 litres of yellow colour

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x litres of blue colour is taken.

Then yellow colour is (x + 6) litres.

By the given condition,

x : (x + 6) = 2: 5

or, x/(x + 6) = 2/5

or, 5 * x = 2 * (x + 6)

or, 5x = 2x + 12

or, 5x - 2x = 12

or, 3x = 12

or, x = 4

So 4 litres of blue colour is taken.

Then (4 + 6) = 10 litres of yellow colour is taken.
