blue bead basically shows the innocence and bravery of sibia..living in the forest, she did hesitate to poke the crocodile and save the gujar women. Norah Burke shows how difficult the life of a nomad is- sibia had never owned anything more than a rag (no pi,anna etc) she would admire things out of her reach (talk about the sweets,turquoise and opals and the merchant) and was fascinated by very ordinary things. In the end of the story when her mother was running back to find her and said "i thought something happened to you" she replies by saying -something did,i found a blue bead which shows the immence joy she got by such an ordinary item and valued that higher than saving a person lifes. it revolves around everday heroism in the jungle
um imp questions i cant really say but just know the things in the bazaar, the crocodile incident and the guzar encampment paragraph :)
